The series depicts Dana’s journey to connect with her Palestinian roots and find solace in her father. Dana dreams of following in her Father’s footsteps by being an activist and voice for her community. But her deep-seated fear of her heritage holds her back. Troubles will arise when distractions come in the form of love and bad habits, but she succeeds in the end by performing in the activist variety show she so desperately feared.
